Abstract
N.O.GALLERY Project Room is pleased to announce Massimo Uberti solo exhibition in the new location in Matteo Bandello 18.
N.O.Gallery Project Room’s research proceeds with GATE NOW OPEN, a site specific installation projected by Massimo Uberti
Uberti builds spaces that become, at the same time, physical and impalpable.
Formal simplicity, distinctive of the artist’s creations, favours a direct approach to the artwork and to the personal meaning that arises from it.
Massimo Uberti invites the spectator to cross a threshold: an open gate highlights and pursues an art’s meaning beyond the mere external appearance.

Amato vuoto
I have only thrown in the rubbish bin of the garbage tens of drawings, of notes and some projects that probably, if I had been prudent, I would have kept and transformed in art works, but I need to see a new space and I have got rid of them.
Now my studio is completely empty and I feel myself at home.
The painting space is empty again and I can decide to cross the threshold, but not immediately; for some instants I savour the opportunity of having an empty space.
No weight or task shows itself to my look, only spazio amato. Satisfied and with light mind finally I feel myself well. I see!
Now new images will appear and this causes excitement to me. I have big difficulty in retain myself, but I must resist, I must keep calm: incautious gestures in this moment of absence of gravity can compromise everything.
The magic deprived of this possible gap resists some instants, moments in whom no signal is active, me only and this bright space around me. I stand still as far as possible, but staying immobile is not simple and, a little later, I start moving and I finish inside it. I leave.
When I am back I do discover with astonishment that in the studio new projects and new images have appeared, what do I have to do? Do I attend?
No. I go away and I try to sleep but I wake up soon, I return to the studio and I discover that the front rubbish skip is again empty S I do not resist, I feel the compelling necessity of throwing everything. I do it. I see spazio amato again.
I start up again.
